Abstract/Description
Demonstrators marching in the Boston Common in the rain on their way to the State House, carrying signs, protesting against the Central Artery/Tunnel Project DD Ramp in Chinatown. Chinatown residents formed a community coalition to stop the proposed Central Artery off-ramp that would cause increased traffic and air pollution in residential streets. In this image, protesters are holding a banner that says: "Stop the DD Ramp, Save Chinatown." Some demonstrators are holding a protest sign that reads: "Stop DD Ramp. Protect the Children. Protect the Elderly. Save our Chinatown." In the left foreground, a protester is banging a drum.
